Warmer weather, with a little rain...

It didn't pour today, but it was comming down better than in town. I did enjoy the non-freezing temps the past few days, and today with its light drizzle was a perfect day for a small fire and a good book. However my four wet, stinking dogs, who really wanted to come inside didn't appreciate it as much as I did.

Damn it's cold!

Ok, not much time or really ambition to type a long post, so I just uploaded a video post today. Playing around with my new tablet, please contain your laughter....

Some friendly advice from our local newspaper.... "KINGMAN - The National Weather Service is reporting that overnight temperatures could get as low as 13 degrees tonight, so here are a couple of steps you can take to avoid having your water lines freeze." To continue reading...

The sites of life in the sticks...

Headed into town the other afternoon and spotted some neighbors out for a walk, I said hi, took a pic, and continued on...

Been little cold lately...

You can see the time, and yes this is the temp inside the house... Now outside, it was a brisk 30 degrees... At noon... WTH? I thought this was the desert?

Headline in the local paper... First time since 1990 we've had 5 consecutive days of a high in the low thirties. I can vouch to that fact...

Wagon update...

Well it's painted and back together, and it looks great!
I'm sure the owners will be itching to get back on the road with it. I know I can't wait to see it rolling down the highway!

Update 1/14/2012

The wagon has been finished for a few days now, we rebuilt the bows for the canvas using PVC and loaded it up and sent it to them before I had a chance to get any good pictures of it. I hear that our local paper is doing an article about them and the help they have received from the Depot. When it's published I'll post a link for those who are interested. I can say, what I've seen of it it turned out great, and it was a fun project, even more fun to talk to people who came into the store and wanted to hear about their trip.

Life update.
