Horrifying Crash In Kansas Sees Car Split Down The Middle

How is this even possible?

A single-car crash in Kansas this weekend has provided one of the most horrifying accident images of the year, which you can see in the screenshot heading up this story. What you’re seeing isn’t two cars. That is a single vehicle that was rent apart so violently it shaved off half of the machine.

The crash was reported near 55th Street and Shawnee Mission Parkway in Fairway, Kansas. It was called in sometime around three in the morning, resulting in the road being shut down until just before eight local time while authorities cleaned up the crash and investigated the accident.

Right now, the sheriff’s office has reported to FOX 4 KC that it appears the driver was simply going too fast and collided with a tree. That resulted in the split down the middle that we can see in the photographs above. The accident was obviously fatal for the driver, who is currently the only reported person in the car. That person has not been identified.

The condition of the driver has also not been released, so it is unclear if they were under the influence, tired, ill, or simply driving too fast. The crash is still under investigation; we’ll add further details as they are provided.

126 Ex-Generals, Admirals Warn About Biden: U.S. In 'Deep Peril,' Health A Concern, 7 Red Flags Emerging

More than 120 retired generals and admirals from the United States Armed Forces warned in a letter this week that the U.S. was entering a state of "deep peril" under the leadership of President Joe Biden and even called into question his physical and mental health.

The letter, which came from a group called "Flag Officers 4 America," said that the country was in a fight for survival as a constitutional republic against Marxist forces that seek to destroy American's rights.

"The Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration's effective policies and regulations," the letter states.

The letter expressed concern over what it called "population control" measures, including "excessive lockdowns, school and business closures," and big tech censorship.

The letter highlighted the following key policy concerns that the former top military officers had:

  • Open borders jeopardize national security by increasing human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorists entry, health/CV19 dangers, and humanitarian crises. Illegals are flooding our Country bringing high economic costs, crime, lowering wages, and illegal voting in some states. We must reestablish border controls and continue building the wall while supporting our dedicated border control personnel. Sovereign nations must have controlled borders.
  • China is the greatest external threat to America. Establishing cooperative relations with the Chinese Communist Party emboldens them to continue progress toward world domination, militarily, economically, politically and technologically. We must impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America's interests.
  • The free flow of information is critical to the security of our Republic, as illustrated by freedom of speech and the press being in the 1st Amendment of our Constitution. Censoring speech and expression, distorting speech, spreading disinformation by government officials, private entities, and the media is a method to suppress the free flow of information, a tyrannical technique used in closed societies. We must counter this on all fronts beginning with removing Section 230 protection from big tech.
  • Re-engaging in the flawed Iran Nuclear Deal would result in Iran acquiring nuclear weapons along with the means to deliver them, thereby upsetting Mideast peace initiatives and aiding a terrorist nation whose slogans and goals include "death to America" and "death to Israel". We must resist the new China/Iran agreement and not support the Iran Nuclear Deal. In addition, continue with the Mideast peace initiatives, the "Abraham Accords," and support for Israel.
  • Stopping the Keystone Pipeline eliminates our recently established energy independence and causes us to be energy dependent on nations not friendly to us, while eliminating valuable US jobs. We must open the Keystone Pipeline and regain our energy independence for national security and economic reasons.
  • Using the U.S. military as political pawns with thousands of troops deployed around the U.S. Capitol Building, patrolling fences guarding against a non-existent threat, along with forcing Politically Correct policies like the divisive critical race theory into the military at the expense of the War Fighting Mission, seriously degrades readiness to fight and win our Nation's wars, creating a major national security issue. We must support our Military and Vets; focus on war fighting, eliminate the corrosive infusion of Political Correctness into our military which damages morale and war fighting cohesion.
  • The "Rule of Law" is fundamental to our Republic and security. Anarchy as seen in certain cities cannot be tolerated. We must support our law enforcement personnel and insist that DAs, our courts, and the DOJ enforce the law equally, fairly, and consistently toward all.

The letter also called into question Biden's physical and mental health, which comes after Biden repeatedly fell while trying to board Air Force One and has appeared to struggle to remember things while in office.

"The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored," the letter stated. "He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night. Recent Democrat leadership's inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command."

A full copy of the letter...

Open Letter from Retired Generals and Admirals Our Nation is in deep peril. We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty. During the 2020 election an “Open Letter from Senior Military Leaders” was signed by 317 retired Generals and Admirals and, it said the 2020 election could be the most important election since our country was founded. “With the Democrat Party welcoming Socialists and Marxists, our historic way of life is at stake.” Unfortunately, that statement’s truth was quickly revealed, beginning with the election process itself. Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the “will of the people” our Constitutional Republic is lost. Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc. Today, many are calling such commonsense controls “racist” in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic. Additionally, the “Rule of Law” must be enforced in our election processes to ensure integrity. The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020. Finally, H.R.1 & S.1, (if passed), would destroy election fairness and allow Democrats to forever remain in power violating our Constitution and ending our Representative Republic. Aside from the election, the Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration’s effective policies and regulations. Moreover, population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression are all direct assaults on our fundamental Rights. We must support and hold accountable politicians who will act to counter Socialism, Marxism and Progressivism, support our Constitutional Republic, and insist on fiscally responsible governing while focusing on all Americans, especially the middle class, not special interest or extremist groups which are used to divide us into warring factions. Additional National Security Issues and Actions: • Open borders jeopardize national security by increasing human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorists entry, health/CV19 dangers, and humanitarian crises. We must impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests. • Re-engaging in the flawed Iran Nuclear Deal would result in Iran acquiring nuclear weapons along with the means to deliver them, thereby upsetting Mideast peace initiatives and aiding a terrorist nation whose slogans and goals include “death to America” and “death to Israel” . We must resist the new China/Iran agreement and not support the Iran Nuclear Deal. Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command. Under a Democrat Congress and the Current Administration, our Country has taken a hard left turn toward Socialism and a Marxist form of tyrannical government which must be countered now by electing congressional and presidential candidates who will always act to defend our Constitutional Republic. The survival of our Nation and its cherished freedoms, liberty, and historic values are at stake. We urge all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to Save America, our Constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable. The “will of the people” must be heard and followed.

A Mother's Impact

LISTEN

"You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus."

—2 Timothy 3:15

President George Washington said, "The greatest teacher I ever had was my mother."

Mothers play such a vital role in our society. Not only do they impact their children, but they also impact their grandchildren and maybe even their great-grandchildren. They impact generations because of the truths they pass on.

The apostle Paul wrote to young Timothy about the impact of Timothy's mother and grandmother on his life: "I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you" (2 Timothy 1:5 NLT).

This shows us the importance of a godly heritage. For Timothy, it started with his grandmother, Lois, went to his mother, Eunice, and next to Timothy. And then Timothy passed that faith on.

If you're a mom, maybe you feel as though you didn't do your job all that well. However, your children are a work in progress. So keep praying for them and never give up, because your impact is greater than you may realize.

Abraham Lincoln, regarded by many as one of the greatest presidents in American history, said, "All that I am or hope to be, I owe it to my angel mother." And President Ronald Reagan said, "From my mother, I learned the value of prayer, how to have dreams and believe I could make them come true."

Scripture says of the godly woman, "Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: 'There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!'" (Proverbs 31:28–29 NLT).

If you've been a godly mother and have done your part to raise your children in the way of the Lord, what a treasure you are. What a blessing you are. We thank you and honor you this Mother's Day weekend.

Overland Bound Completes Third Trail Guardian Clean Up in the Mojave National Preserve - Overland Bound

Overland Bound Completes Third Trail Guardian Clean Up in the Mojave National Preserve - Overland Bound
I'm so proud to be part of this organization! I'm member 1699 and have seen this grow from a small 500 membership based mostly in Northern California to now over 20K world wide! They are making a difference, being good stewards of the outdoors.

Overland Bound Completes Third Trail Guardian Clean Up in the Mojave National Preserve

Overland Bound Completes 3rd Trail Guardian Work Weekend in Partnership with the Mojave National Preserve –

April 24th, 2021 –

It was a weekend of hard work, camaraderie and perfect weather in the Mojave National Preserve.

With the help and guidance of OB/Trail Guardian Executive Director Kent Reynolds, over 100 Overland Bound members joined together in the Mojave National Preserve to take on three major projects in partnership with the US National Park Service (NPS). Ongoing work to clear decades worth of debris in the Death Valley Mine was completed, barriers and fire pits to help protect the environmentally sensitive ecosystem of the Kelso Dunes were installed, and significant progress was made in the demolition of a historically inaccurate barn at Kessler Ranch.

Overland Bound volunteers distributed themselves across these worksites, and best of all, the collective hours of volunteer service are translated into direct value to the NPS. Volunteer hours are calculated into cash value by multiplying the number of hours the volunteers work by the Independent Sector's estimate of the value of volunteer time. (For example, the value was $23.07/hour for 2014.) We will update this article with the total value pending confirmation from the Mojave National Preserve team. The November 2020 Trail Guardian event had an estimated value of over $18,000.

Thank you to Park Superintendent Mike Gauthier, Park Archeologist Dave Nichols and Mojave National Preserve Science Advisor Debra Hughson and Matt Caire for their commitment to producing these events.

The workday wrapped up with a large campfire and raffle. Thank you to Maxtrax, Zarges Cases, Gazelle Tents and Wagan Tech for their generosity in offering up raffle prizes for our hard workers.

A significant and enthusiastic THANK YOU is due to the entire volunteer leadership team who lead the charge: Bob Brann (Death Valley Mine Lead), Kevin Reinig (Truck Unloading Lead), Nick DeLuca (Truck Loading Lead), Tom Butler (Demo and Debris at Kessler Ranch Lead), Mike Lee (Kelso Dunes Lead), Deb Lee (Event Medical Lead) and Rob Irwin (Documentation Lead and Medical Support).

In the words of the National Park Service, "Volunteering is an American tradition that over the years has made an immeasurable contribution to communities, organizations, and individuals throughout the country. Volunteers are vital to the success of the National Park Service (NPS)."

Overland Bound is proud to work alongside the National Park Service and all other land use authorities to help keep our trails open, especially the historically rich and well traveled overland route of the Mojave Road. We are currently working to expand the Trail Guardian Program to reach even more lands in need of volunteer assistance.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us during this epic weekend! And please remember to pack out more than you packed in. Let's work together to leave it better than we found it.
