Spring chores

With spring in full swing, I gave each of the trees a Miracle Grow spike treatment.  They look good after the cold winter, but some extra fertilizer can't hurt.

Seeing double...

The wife and I needed another reliable car with our new schedule, she really wanted another soul, and one in alien green. We went to the dealership last night to see what they were going for... And came home with a twin to the one we bought last year... I guess we're a little afraid of change...

On the serious side of things...

Since spring has sprung and the snakes are out I thought it prudent to take a day and drag clean the yards, now I'm burnt and filthy, time for beer...

First sign of spring... PSA for fellow desert rats.

This big guy was stretched across the road this morning a good four and half foot long I'm guessing...   Time to be extra diligent for things that slither and crawl. Also as a reminder of the wilds we call home, came across two coyotes on my morning walk, well fed, but looking for water, they didn't bother the dogs or I, but stood their ground for sometime. Wish I had my cell with me for that one!
