Every once in awhile you have to just take a dirt road to see where it’ll take you. Happily this one took me to a lake on a hot afternoon returning from Vegas. Lake Mead is at its lowest and shrinking every month. Ten years ago, my car would have been ten foot under water here, and it was a short hike to get to shore today. #wearethewild #peaceful #wonderlust #happyplace #ob1699 #overlandbound
