Search underway for overdue hiker missing in Olympic National Park

Jerren Fisher (National Park Service)

A search is underway for a missing hiker in Olympic National Park.

Jerren Fisher, 26, had a wilderness permit for Sept. 8-12 and planned to camp at Enchanted Valley, Marmot Lake, Camp Pleasant and Sundown Lake, according to a release from National Park Service.

A family member of Fisher reported him overdue to park dispatch on Sept. 16.

His last known location was at the Graves Creek Trailhead in the Quinault Rain Forest, where Fisher's vehicle was found, according to park officials.

Fisher is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 200 pounds and has light brown hair in a ponytail and a thick red beard. He is known to hike in tie-dye T-shirts and bright colors.

Rangers are asking anyone who was in the Enchanted Valley, North Fork Skokomish Trail or Six Ridge areas between Sept. 8-16 or has information regarding Fisher to call or text at 888-653-0009.
